World-Fest 2014 at Branson's Silver Dollar City

Branson's Silver Dollar City theme park hosts several festivals and events throughout the year, including World-Fest, April 5-May 4, 2014. This international festival brings together entertainment, art, culinary influences, and culture from across the globe.

Several new acts will be a part of this year's festival including Emmy-Award-Winning Benise and his Spanish guitar. Benise is joined by a live orchestra and a troupe of talented dancers showcasing the fiery Spanish Flamenco, Cuban Salsa, and Brazilian Samba.
Via Romen brings vibrant Gypsy music to World-Fest with Russian, Urkanian, and Romani instrumentalists and vocalists.
Guests can also experience interactive entertainment with Festa de Espana, a Spanish-inspired street theatre entertainment troupe including living puppets and living statues.

The colorful folk dancers and drummers of Los Pampas Gouchos return to World-Fest in Amamos Argentina presenting traditional dance and percussion from Latin America.

World-Fest veterans may remember Irish duo Dearbhail Finnegan and Robin Slater. Grammy-award winner Dearbhail Finnegan is Ireland's Premier Harpist, joined by her husband, Robin, on the silver flute and traditional Irish drum bodhran. The two have performed for U.S. President Bill Clinton along with other presidents, royalty and dignitaries around the world.

Other favorites returning from previous years' festivals include the traditional Andean music and Latin rhythms of Ecuador Manta and the Alpine music and yodeling of Kerry Christensen.

Tastes of the World features an assortment of entrees, desserts, and snacks with an global flair. This year's menu includes Greek Antipasto Salad, Korean Tacos, Polynesian Calzone, Caribbean Nachos, Chicken Yaksoba Pasta, Cherries Jubilee Crepes, and much more.
